There are two ways to look at being single at 68... negatively (not an option), or as an opportunity.   I choose 'opportunity' because with age has come experience and wisdom,which has helped me grow as a person. I go walking a couple of times a week... I live on the edge of the Pennines. I enjoy cooking and, even though I am on my own I cook all my own meals.  I enjoy holidays and have spent several in Italy, Rome ,Venice and down South where I was lucky enough to spend time with a family who still produce their own wine and food in the traditional way.  I guess my dream holiday would be next to a crystal clear Azure sea on a white, sandy beach, in the shade of some palm trees, soaking up the rays and listening to the waves.  I would like my partner to be happy and loving... kisses, cuddles, holding hands, even dancing, who has her own life but shares precious times with me.  Perhaps we can learn about one another as time goes on.... which would be part of growing together.
