Looking for a male, ages 70-82

Here is a little information about me: Creating a life that expresses my interests and talents is the greatest fun for me.  I love making beautiful things, of all kinds, from small to larger works of art, to  designing the home in which I reside. I also like to cook and I eat organically, not a meat eater. I am interested in preserving my health and fitness and engage in those pursuits to that end on a daily basis.  I am also interested in growing my own food and am currently looking into the best way I can do this. I walk daily, in nature when possible, and I love to dance.  Having some form of fun every day is important, I want to enjoy life to the fullest. Being playful, having fun and laughing with my partner are at the top of this list.
I am a spiritual being having a human experience and I embody an eclectic mix in my beliefs, not any one dogma or teaching. I lean to eastern philosophies and don't think one needs to sit in a church in order to talk with God. I am interested in the esoteric, the metaphysical, the spiritual as opposed to more mainstream western religious teachings.  I am an alternative kind of person, not mainstream in any sense of the word. Learning new things and experiencing places I've never been, especially if there is some aspect of art attached to that, such as a road trip to an artistic destination, is always on my agenda.  I am also a writer for my own pleasure and have edited manuscripts and papers for friends and family.  I'm a beach and desert person, with mountains coming in at third place.  Definitely not an urbanite at heart, I love the wide open spaces and all of Nature.
I'm looking for a partner whose idea of life and living is similar to mine, who may also be a creative being, who can fix and make things and perhaps loves to garden as well, a sort of Renaissance Man if you will.  I would really enjoy engaging in shared creative projects with my partner. Two heads are always better than one, and in my experience can produce the most extraordinary results.  
I do have one qualifier:  I have found that long distance relationships are difficult at best and therefore have concluded that connecting with someone very nearby or in a neighboring area would be the most likely to have a positive result. I believe that cultivating a friendship first is most important as I've learned that jumping into a relationship simply doesn't work in the long run.  And chemistry between us must be there of course.  If any of the above is familiar and interesting to you, let's chat and see what might be there for us to investigate. ‍
